Freedom is just the beginning.
Join the mission.
We seek to rescue and restore survivors of sexual slavery.
Since Project Rescue was founded in 1997, we’ve been on a mission to rescue and restore victims of sexual exploitation through the love and power of God.
Each Project Rescue affiliated site is launched by courageous men and women of God, often starting with street outreach in areas of prostitution. No two partnerships are exactly the same, but all caregivers offer God’s love, liberating truth, and compassionate, holistic care. In each of the areas we serve, leaders and staff work 24/7 with survivors to support them on their journey toward restoration.
Dana’s life changed drastically after her parents died.
Forced into begging for survival, a well-dressed man offered her money in exchange for "help." He lured her into a nearby hut, where he assaulted her. Desperate to provide for her brothers, Dana endured the trauma, only to be abducted and sold to a brothel, where she spent the next 20 years in unimaginable torment.
Hope re-entered her life when a social worker convinced the brothel owner to allow Dana to attend Project Rescue’s vocational training center. There, she met Cora, a compassionate caregiver, and found solace and purpose in learning to sew. Over time, Dana’s work caught the attention of local merchants, and one generous individual purchased her freedom.
The miracle continued when, one day, Dana returned home to find a young man named Ali at her door. He revealed that he had been searching for her all these years. With tears of joy, Dana realized it was her long-lost brother, and she declared, “It took God in heaven to bring us back together!”
