  • Mindy Wegner

I grew up in the kind of church where we went 3x/week, (more for revival weeks!), and grew to love Jesus as a young girl.

One of the lasting impacts on my heart were the missionaries who came through town. In fact, the first time I heard David Grant, I was 12 years old. It was about that time that I told my mother that Jesus was calling me to be a missionary.

Reaching those who don’t know Jesus, and serving the ‘least of these’ has always and forever been my life’s interest. But the mission field, as a place, and ‘missionary’ as a vocation was not God’s direction.

Today, I am a marketplace leader and support missionaries, and mission work around the globe. I am blessed to be able to be ‘a sender’; to resource them with financial assistance, and to bring my work to their field. As a Public Speaking trainer and coach, and a Leadership Coach, I am able to offer tools that equip each person to better communicate the powerful message of hope that they are a part of delivering.

I fully believe in the leadership of Project Rescue, from David and Beth, to Jonathan, to every leader of every care center. I am overwhelmed by the incredible talent and heart that God is using, everywhere Project Rescue is.

Of course, when you meet the survivors, the children, the madams who have also found Jesus, you are changed. Jesus is so completely healing, and Project Rescue is doing the long work of bringing healing to the deeply broken.
