Job Summary

The program management lead oversees the overall coordination and evaluation of programs that align with the organization’s mission. This role involves strategic oversight, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement of program initiatives. The program management lead will facilitate the successful implementation of programs across multiple regions, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

Program Development and Management:

  • Lead programs’ implementation and management, ensuring they meet organizational goals and community needs.

  • Collaborate with regional and local teams to establish and evaluate program objectives, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational mission.

  • Work with the leadership team to vet, re-vet, and onboard sites using the organization’s guidelines.

  • Provide ongoing support in monitoring and assessing program activities, utilizing feedback and data for continuous improvement via SureImpact.

  • Assist in identifying and addressing local needs to enhance program effectiveness.

Site Engagement and Communication:

  • Build strong relationships with site leadership and regular communication between field specialists, leadership, and partners to ensure coordinated efforts and consistent messaging.

  • Maintain information flow from the field to the resource office by updating and maintaining the Program Basecamp folder.

  • Represent the organization at events, conferences, and meetings to promote programs and foster new partnerships.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on program progress, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Sites at a glance up to date with information form the field.

Strategic Planning and Innovation:

  • Oversee the creation of the site evaluation schedule for both in-person and Zoom evaluations.

  • Contribute to the long-term strategic planning, identifying program expansion and innovation opportunities.

  • Explore new methodologies, partnerships, and technologies to enhance program delivery and impact.

  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to implement solutions that address emerging needs and challenges in the field.

Resource and Support Coordination:

  • Support the resource office by being a liaison between the office and the field.

  • Coordinate providing technical assistance and resources to local teams, ensuring they have the tools to implement and evaluate programs effectively.

  • Network with other organizations and ministries to leverage resources, share knowledge, and collaborate on joint initiatives.

  • Manage program implementation’s logistical and operational aspects, including budgets and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social services, international development, public

health, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: At least two years of experience in program management, community

engagement, or international development. Experience in cross-cultural or international

contexts is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and cross-cultural communication skills. Experience with program evaluation and community assessments is a plus.

Please NOTE:

Some domestic and international travel required coordinating with regional teams and attending key events. Occasional weekend work may be needed for program assessments and planning.
