Project Rescue Praise Report!

Together in Prayer

By Jennifer Barratt

I believe in the power of prayer. I’ve seen God work in beautiful ways through the prayers of partners like you for the sake of every single woman and child you’ve helped rescue and restore!

So today, as we rejoice together in the good things happening through our multinational network of partners, initiatives, and outreaches, I also ask you to pray:

PRAY for our dedicated leaders, staff, and partners around the globe who are on the front lines of rescuing exploited women and children every day.

I thank God for their faithfulness, as they walk shoulder-to-shoulder with courageous survivors on their journey to restoration. The work these partners do is challenging and so important. Please join me in praying for their safety and strength.

PRAY for the Lord’s continued blessing on our work together — that God will grow our network into more areas so that we can connect with more survivors of exploitation and restore them through the love and power of God!

Thank you, from my heart, for not only supporting us financially, but standing with us together in prayer. We feel your prayer support and need it more than ever. God bless you for helping save women and children from the bonds of sexual slavery and giving them an opportunity to begin life over again. You are making a difference!

Together in Praise

In Asia Pacific, wonderfully dedicated staff are excitedly preparing to open the doors of our new children’s home.

As final preparations are made, the safe home’s director and counselor are meeting with staff several times a week for additional training. We have secured permission from the local police department to operate — and are now awaiting needed approvals from several social services departments that have agreed to work with the home to bring in vulnerable survivors who need our help.

In Europe, God continues to bless our efforts across many regions.

Recently, a prime location has been identified in Europe that may serve as a wonderful spot to minister to women and their children who have been victims of sex trafficking. We are praying this land may be purchased, and a home can be established, so courageous survivors can live in freedom as fully empowered daughters and sons of God.

Our Thitali outreach center is thriving, thanks to your beautiful compassion and support!

Although the doors have only recently opened, our team is already expanding its vocational program and building relationships with area businesses. The women in the outreach center have been asked to make laundry bags for a well-known hotel chain. As a result of this partnership, more business from other hotels is already on the horizon! God is giving many opportunities for the women we serve to work and earn an income for their families outside the sex trade. To God be the glory!

Hope to the Hopeless

A young woman with three children visited our Thitali outreach center. She was apprehensive — unsure of who to trust.

She was struggling to survive in a brothel and earn a livelihood while also caring for her three young children. She’d been exploited for 12 years, the abuse and despair painfully evident. This young woman had recently moved to our side of the red-light district and heard about a place of help and hope — thank God, and you, we didn’t disappoint.

Our Thitali staff responded immediately to meet her most pressing needs. We provided a month’s worth of groceries for her and her children. We also put together a pack for her to take back to the brothel, including biscuits, toiletries, and clothing for her little ones.

The joy on the children’s faces and their sense of awe at the gifts were priceless!

Please join us in praying for this woman and her children, that God will use us to bring His eternal freedom into their lives. And thank you for making our outreach possible. You are giving hope to the hopeless.
