Dear Family and Friends,
2014 has been a year like no other in our 38 years of marriage and missionary ministry.
We have sensed the hand of the Lord in all of this, and He is preparing us for the future as He leads.
We have wonderful news! Jennifer is expecting in May and Rebecca in June!
Rebecca and Tyler moved overseas in August, and are in the middle of a year of language study. At 8000 feet, with no central heat, they are enjoying their wood-burning stove and sharing hot cups of chai with neighbors. Interacting with the Unreached People Groups in their region, they are part of the Live Dead Project. Judah is 21 months old and makes friends everywhere. Thank you for supporting them and praying for them, especially for the arrival of their second baby in June.
Jennifer is the Director of Nursing at Mercy Villa, a long-term care facility in Springfield. She and Jonathan have been traveling and speaking on behalf of Project Rescue. Jonathan’s involvement with Project Rescue has been a gift from God in this rapidly expanding ministry. Gemma, our 17 month old granddaughter is talking up a storm and keeps us all on our toes. Jonathan and Jennifer are expecting their second child in May, and we are excited for Gemma to be a big sister.
We continue to travel extensively on behalf of missions and Project Rescue both overseas and in the US. In addition, Beth teaches missions at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and overseas schools, and has the joy of representing 7,000 women ministers within the Assemblies of God as the first female executive presbyter in the 100-year history of our movement. We look forward to celebrating our anniversary on December 22nd, and David’s birthday on the 27th. We love you and appreciate your friendship and prayers more than words could ever express. Our prayer is that this will be the most joyous Christmas for you and your family. We would love to hear from you!
